Children’s Playground

This super-playground can be found between the Cloud Forest and Satay Club in the Garden's by the Bay. Opened in early 2014 it's really impressive, hugely popular and absolutely free.

It is divided into four fantastic sections for little ones to explore and play: Adventure Trail, Toddler's Play, Water Play and Fish Fountain. Separate "age appropriate" sections make it super safe and no risk of little ones getting trampled on or knocked over. There are even staff on hand to keep a watchful eye over the kids and make sure everyone's playing safely and having fun.

The Toddler’s Play was a big hit with our two girls; a sway bridge, stepping springs, swings and slides. Small and safe enough for Millie to clamber around whilst offering enough adventure to entertain Jessica. In keeping with the Gardens by the Bay’s lush natural setting, there are also meandering nature trails to explore and plenty of greenery to hide amongst.
When the girls were ready to cool off we headed to the fabulous Water Play area. Millie adored the Fish Fountain especially for the littlest ones. Jessica dodged fountains and dashed through water jet tunnels in the colourful water "forest". They both had an absolute ball splashing about. With plenty of shady deck-chairs for us to rest on and the Children's Garden Café on hand for refreshments we all agreed it was one of the best places to spend an afternoon in the city.

Gardens by the Bay

Occupying a dazzling green space equal to over 170 football fields and built on reclaimed land, Gardens by the Bay is poised to become the best city park in the world.

The kids will marvel at the massive, futuristic biodomes and Supertrees. Step inside the giant greenhouses of The Conservatory Complex, home to the Flower Dome and Cloud Forest. Take a colourful journey through “perpetual spring” in the Flower Dome. The dazzling botanical displays of vibrant plants and blooms from Mediterranean climes bring an abundance of colours and smells.
The Cloud Forest brings a mysterious world veiled in mist and a cool, moist mountainous climate. Enjoy a surreal cloud walk past a 35-foot tall mountain, covered in lush vegetation shrouding one of the worlds tallest indoor manmade waterfalls! Get adventurous exploring the “Lost World”; walking through mosses, ferns and vegetation found in high-altitude regions. Both domes offer plenty of hands on learning opportunities to find out about all the amazing things plants do for us.

You can also enjoy plenty of scenic walks and trails through the themed-outdoor gardens. We loved peering up at the spectacular, futuristic Supertrees. The 22-metre high OCBC Skyway offers stunning birds eye views of the gardens and after dark you stay for the superb choreographed Supertrees sound and light show!

The whole lush, green landscape of the Gardens is playful, fascinating and brilliant for kids. Packed full of World-class play areas, trails and plenty of places for little (and big) ones to feast; Gardens by the Bay is a perfect day out for the whole family.
