I've discovered a new addiction - Trover. It's a brilliant new(ish) app where Trover members share pictures, tips and inspirations from their travels. You can visually explore the "best of everywhere" and gather ideas of unique places to go whether around the corner or around the world. You can share your own "discoveries" by uploading a photo, tagging the location and sharing a top tip. The idea is that you share behind the scenes knowledge and insider information from the places you have been. The tips can be anything that will help someone make the best of their time here and have a more enjoyable, beautiful or delicious experience. Here's a sneaky peak of our profile page: I'm also loving browsing other people's pictures and collecting ideas of beautiful places to visit. Being able to find hot new discoveries in Thailand has got us really excited about our upcoming trip. All the pictures have also really helped visually "bring to life" where we're going next for Jessica. I only joined Trover last week for but already have multiple lists of inspiring places to go! Every photo is geo-tagged so it makes it easy to find the same location and experience. Trover also shows you the nearest attractions to your current location. You can also search by location or keyword making it really easy to find what you're interested in. Trover is super easy to use; combining the beauty of Pinterest, with the functionality of Foursquare, all accessed in a handy Instagram style layout. The difference being that everything on Trover is travel no selfies or pictures of cats on here. Every day new discoveries pop up via what's hot and featured lists to grab your attention and spark new ideas. We were delighted to make the "Fresh ideas - best of new Trovers" section. There is also a passionate community of travellers and explorers to chat to and share ideas with. We like the way other members "thank you" for your photo - a nice personal touch. Whether you love travel photography, are looking for ideas planning a holiday or just want to see what's around on your doorstep check out Trover. Just be prepared to be distracted dreaming about all the places you'll want to add to your bucket list!
